The perfect song for relaxing on a warm summer evening.

#songoftheday: Bee Gees – This is Where I Came In
I’ve received more than a few confused looks over the years, anytime I’ve said that my favourite Bee Gees song came out in 2001.
#songoftheday: Me First and the Gimme Gimmes – On The Radio (Donna Summer Cover)
This album just showed up in the mail, and I’ve already listened to it four times from start to finish. Me First and the Gimme Gimmes just keep getting better.
#songoftheday: The Rolling Stones – Dance (Pt. 1)
The Rolling Stones’ disco-influenced songs tend to get a bit of a bad rap, but I’ve always enjoyed them.
#songoftheday: The Clash – I’m Not Down
A bit of inspirational punk-rock from some of punk-rock’s greatest pioneers.
#songoftheday: Graydon James & The Young Novelists – Standing Still
My favourite part from a bachelor party a few years back, was getting the opportunity to see this band live at Lee’s Palace.
#songoftheday: Chris Lake feat. Jareth – Helium
I came across this one listening to Dyro’s podcast.
#songoftheday: AWOLNATION – Sail
The definition of epic workout music.
#songoftheday: Audioslave – Show Me How to Live
Supergroups are never really built to last, but I always enjoyed Audioslave for the time that they were around. The combination of Rage Against the Machine’s funk-metal sound with Chris Cornell’s top-tier alt-rock voice always seemed like a winner to me.
Bonus points for the Vantage Point footage in this music video too.
#songoftheday: Alanis Morissette – Head Over Feet
Without a doubt, one of my all time favourite love songs.
