Last summer, I was treated to no less than 3 live performances of this song. Dinosaur Jr., and AFI did admirable jobs, but seeing The Cure perform it was really something else.
I first came across this song about 7 years ago, on the soundtrack to a Japanese rhythm game that I imported for my DS.
The fact that Me First and the Gimme Gimmes have covered it since then, never fails to make me smile.

The Rolling Stones’ disco-influenced songs tend to get a bit of a bad rap, but I’ve always enjoyed them.
Oddly enough, I came across this gem by way of “Rump Shaker” by Wreckx-N-Effect. It turns out the lines, “I like the way you comb your hair, and I like those stylish clothes you wear” have been used in a few songs since this DeBarge hit.
