Music, theater, stand-up comedy, even pro-wrestling… all examples of art forms where crowd interaction, and reaction can completely change the experience.
This song from Erykah Badu is a perfect example. The studio version’s much slower, and comes across as more about bitterness and frustration. When you toss in a great crowd though, it comes across as a triumphant middle finger representing anyone who’s been unappreciated in a relationship.
